SXSW!!!

We were finally reunited at last for our show at The Milestone in
Charlotte last night. Great crowd, awesome bands on the line up and
Tim's birthday present was not only his luggage but also the news that
Kittens Ablaze is going to be playing at South by Southwest!!!!

Heading on the road now to Athens GA!!!

Cash Money!

Despite the odds, the acoustic set went fairly well, we were more than
excited to get paid and served cheap beer for being in the band. The
drummer from the other band stepped in to jam with us for part of the
set and the people in Richmond were all lovely.

Realization at 9 am: who is picking Nate up in Charlotte at noon which
is 5 hours away? Oops.

Back at the airport now hoping tim's lost luggage has found its way
here as customer service in India is as confused as we are. The
caravan continues staggered to charlotte, where it looks like a friend
is taking us in for the night.

First show tonight with everyone together at last!

Bay of Pigs instead of Normandy

Anything that could have gone wrong so far has happened so it can only
be uphill from here!

Nate's car needs sparkplug replacement and strange check engine light
leads to breakdown on the NJ turnpike with two members of band and
some gear.

Tim gets stuck in Wisconsin due to fog and reroutes himself directly
to Richmond 6 hours delayed.

I get stuck in I-95 traffic and drive the wrong way down 2 one ways to
pick up Tim and get to the motel which is surrounded by religious
institutions, closed stores or both! Tough times.

Looks like Tim and I are going to do an acoustic set tonight since we
are the only members to make it!! Sitting at the bar currently by
myself wearing the most ridiculous outfit and drinking miller lites as
the rest return gear and car to motel.

This road trip is going to be epic!
