After an acoustic CMJ show in October, we're back with the full sound tonight at Glasslands in Williamsburg. You'll see some familiar faces and some new faces in the lineup. Tim, Jenny and Michelle are still with us...but Tim plays guitar now! Michelle plays a michelle-sized keyboard and sometimes the glockenspiel! (And the cello still.) Tonight we introduce, Ben Bynum on drums, who happens to also be the drummer for singer, Nellie McKay. Michelle & Ben grew up together out on Long Island since they were wee kids and then went to the Juilliard School together. Colin is the new bassist, who we met through Ben and another of Michelle's high school friends--sound engineer, Rob Paterson. Colin takes fancy fingers to a whole new level. He plays in a bunch of different groups, ranging from jazz to rap to electro to you name it. We had an awesome practice last night in the oldest free-standing barn in America (out on Long Island)...see you tonight!
